18th Sunday in Ordinary Time
In this reading, Jesus brushes aside the question about an inheritance, and instead offers the blunt parable of the “Rich Fool” who works to store up wealth that will not last. Jesus distinguishes between selfish wealth, which leaves one empty-handed at life’s end, and genuine wealth in God’s sight – a harvest for eternal life.

40 Hours Devotion for Vocations
