Book of Remembrance
During the month of November, a Book of Remembrance will be placed in the upper narthex of the church. All are welcome to write the names of deceased loved ones in the book for our parish community to remember in prayer.
Sunday Missals 2025-2026
Living with Christ Sunday Missals and Sunday Missals for Youth Catholics for 2025-2026 are now available in the narthex.
The cost is $10 each.

Advent Candle Sets
The CWL has Advent candle sets available for purchase after Mass. Each set includes 3 purple candles and 1 pink candle and costs $20.
Hospitality Ministry Potluck Social & Workshop
All current Hospitality volunteers are invited to attend a workshop on Saturday, November 29 from 11:30 am-2:00 pm to share fellowship, protocols and prayer. It will be a chance to meet others in the Ministry.
We will meet in the Parish Hall first for a potluck social, and the workshop portion will follow.

Solemnity of Christ the King
The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, is the culmination of the liturgical year. In this week’s Encountering the Word video, Jeff Cavins asks if we are ready to make Jesus king in our hearts (5 min 56 sec).
God’s own Son, hanging on a tree with the inscription “King of the Jews” does not produce automatic faith/assent. Two groups are at the foot of the cross: those who recognize Jesus as King, and those who oppose and taunt him. We find both believers and opponents hanging next to and standing below the cross. This scene is a summary of Luke’s entire Gospel: Jesus offers salvation and reaches out to those who ask, and who recognize their need for redemption. Thus, even though Jesus’ kingship exists on a cosmic level, it is an established fact: in this life only our assent in faith reveals that kingship.

World Youth Day on Christ the King
‘You also are my witnesses, because you have been with me” (Jn 15:27) is the verse that guides Pope Leo XIV's Message for the 40th World Youth Day (WYD), which this year will again be celebrated in particular Churches throughout the world on the Solemnity of Christ the King of the Universe, Sunday 23 November 2025.
This year’s theme invites young Catholics to recognise how Christ accompanies them and sends them out as witnesses of hope.
